"Happy Birthday, My Love!"

When I first opened the studio, I didn’t realize how challenging the days and months ahead would be. I thought that doing what I love and being surrounded by those I love is all it would take to run a successful business.  As long as I continued pursuing my passion, it would be easy. Looking back to my 1st year as a business owner, from my experience, I think it might be more challenging when doing what you love.  There is so much emotion tied to my daily commitments to not only my clients but to myself.  I realized that there will be days that I lack the confidence in what I do, either professionally or personally. Building Evenflow Pilates has allowed me to accept that fact and be ok with it.  I know that I will have bad days even though I’m doing what I love. Dealing with these emotions has only encouraged me to work harder at finding a balance between the highs and lows which to me, is the "core" principle of being successful. With all that said, pursuing Pilates and constructing this business was by far the best move I’ve ever made.

I thank my clients for committing to Pilates. Pilates is not easy and is a lot of work.  It involves every element of your mind and body.  It’s almost like a relationship.  You need a strong foundation for stability.  Your “core” is above all things the most important key in life.

Sending all my love and gratitude to my clients who have not only been my students but my teachers.  You all have become family!

I am very blessed to have the most dedicated clients in the universe!

Cheers to 3 years! XO

PIlates for KIDS!

Ryan Smith (10 yrs old) has been a client of mine since June of 2015. He attends two, 30 minute, sessions per week to deepen his performance as a hockey player. Ryan’s favorite piece of equipment is the Reformer.  Just recently he made the Buffalo Jr. Sabres!

Morning at the Barre!

Total Barre is Here...

I'm very excited to introduce Total Barre at Evenflow PIlates!  Classes begin Oct. 15th.

Clients will be here any minute...can't wait to demonstrate what Total Barre is all about (while they sip on Apple Cider Mimosa's)!!!

I'm not sure who we are or what we're doing, but we're having fun...and that's what it's all about!  Happy Halloween!!

On the first anniversary of Evenflow I thought I would reflect a bit on the story of how Evenflow came into being.

At age 32 I never thought I would own a business!

What I did know was that I have a passion for Pilates and the impact it can have on people. Then an opportunity came and I listened to my heart. Instead of focusing on challenges, I reached into the well of confidence and trusted that if I was doing what I loved to do everything would fall into place.

I also knew that whatever the outcome I would be giving my best. I genuinely love people and want to share my passion for what I have learned through the privilege of training with international masters.

Such have been the main ingredients of this past year.

Thanks to the people who trusted and believed in me I have also learned so much from each of you.

Above all I've learned that with patience, proper planning and following my intuition this venture will grow however it's meant to grow.

My deepest thanks to each of you who have walked the path through Evenflow Pilates with me.

Looking foward to another successful year ahead!

My gratitude...

It will be 8 months open in a few days!  It’s been an absolute wonderful start.  Looking forward to all of what's ahead.

November is my favorite month of the year.  During this time I'm reminded how blessed I am in discovering new ways to express my gratitude towards my loved ones.

I’m so proud of everything my clients have accomplished.   I’m extremely thankful for their time spent, strong efforts, and self-assurance.  But most of all their smiles!  I look forward to seeing them every day.

I’ve never been happier.  2013 has been an amazing year filled with so many pleasures.  A special thank you to my husband, Kevin, for all of his love & support.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  Enjoy this special day with your family.  Cheers!  Eat lots!  Yum!

The sign is up!

As I look up at my sign and smile, I say "wow it's official".  I want to thank my clients, family and friends for their inspirations, support and faith in me. You have all played a special role in my success and I wouldn't have taken this jump without you!
